Interestingly, some studies have shown that women need more sleep than men. This is explained by the fact that during the day, when awake, the brain of women is somewhat more active than the brain of men, so it needs more time to rest.
As a consequence of this fact, it is believed that lack of sleep in women can cause much more serious health consequences.
In order to avoid insomnia, it is necessary to follow certain rules. The most banal, but also the most logical move is to go to bed on time. Namely, a typical amount of time needed to sleep is eight hours in one day, with the fact that this varies significantly from person to person and usually decreases with age, so many older people need less sleep.
Finally, but perhaps most importantly, it is important that you have a quality sleeping pad. Mattresses determine the quality of sleep, and if the mattresses are not of good quality, even following all the other rules will not allow a comfortable sleep.
