Your bed is the most important piece of furniture in your home. This is where you rest and recharge your batteries after a long day of work. A mattress that is comfortable improves your sleep and contributes to better overall health.
If you don’t sleep well, you need sleep, it’s time to think about buying a new mattress. Not sure if you’re ready to buy a new mattress?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, it’s time to:
- Wake up in pain. Do you regularly wake up with a sore back or sore joints?
- You are always tired. Do you often wake up still tired after a full night’s sleep?
- Your mattress looks old. Does your mattress look hollow in places?
- You sleep better away from home. Do you sleep better in a bed that is not yours (like a hotel for example)?
- Your mattress is old. When was the last time you bought a new mattress? Based on the use and quality of the mattress, it is recommended to replace the mattress every 7-10 years.
Every time your life changes, so does your mattress.
When you go to college, it’s time to change your childhood bed.
When you get married, your bed must be big enough for two. If you have children, it may need to be even bigger.
Also, don’t forget, your body changes over time. As you age, your need for comfort and support will increase. That’s why it’s a good idea to replace the mattress and pad you’re sleeping on with newer models every few years.
